What We Do and How We Serve and Give To Our Community
Chase Me Again is a 501c3 non-profit selling new and used clothing, home decor, kitchen and household items, used furniture, patio wares, and some seasonal home and yard decor. Donations are accepted on site and all effort is made to reuse and recycle as many of the items we receive as possible. Our prices remain some of the most affordable around, so come check us out.
The intent of this non-profit is to serve and benefit our "local" community. Our biggest beneficiary since our inception is "My Fathers House", a homeless shelter which serves families with children. Beyond receiving money ($107,000.00 to date), shelter residents enjoy the additional benefit of shopping using "Chase Dollars" (free in-store money) to outfit their families with much needed clothing and small household items.
Some of the other richly deserving organizations we have been privileged to help support include - Birch Community Services ($27,500), Gresham Outdoor Public Art ($11,500), and another ($31,000) to other misc. organizations such as Gresham Senior Center, Meals on Wheels, Infusion Gallery (art instruction for the handicapped), NW Battle Buddies and PAWS (comfort dogs for veterans), Adventist Hospice, Hospice Care of Washington County, and others. Beyond money, we have donated over $69,000 in clothing to those in need.
Our newest passion is to give financial assistance to families with disabled children. We are working with Pediatric Therapy of Gresham to pinpoint kids with very specific needs. Usually this pertains to a financially struggling family with a child needing a specific hardware item needed for treatment and/or added mobility that insurance won't cover. To date we have been able to provide over $5,000 in this kind of financial aid.
